— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE 5'4 with shoulder-length blond hair that has a natural curl to it and green eyes. Adrienne's hair tends to be looser in its curl, often a little messier unless she's specifically curled it, left loose unless she's working (and then she'll pin her hair into twin braids that she pins up). She's typically got a friendly expression on her if she doesn't look a bit lost. [x] [x]

CLOTHING 100% of everything that Adrienne wears has sleeves on it, even in summer, the only exception being something that she sleeps in (or if she's dressing to impress). Casually, she's fond of an oversized jumper with jeans and flat shoes, or a lighter blouse with jeans. Her makeup is incredibly light and no jewellery to really speak of. She's fonder of darker shades of green or blue, some black or grey thrown in. [x] [x]

DEMEANOR Whilst Adrienne is a typically friendly and warm person, happy to talk to others she can be very closed off personally. When she's confused, affronted or isn't right (in feeling) she tends to be a little blunter, occasionally bordering on rude (but she'll always come with an apology). She tends to lack a filter, often wording questions a lot poorer than she means to (friendly or questioning) and prefers being direct. She's kind, honest, a good friend but keeps people very distant if she can.

AURAL Adrienne has two main sounds to her: her social American and familial German. A Swiss girl raised in America, Adrienne spoke German at home learning the St. Galler-Dütsch sounds, learning and speaking English with the midwest tones of where she was raised. Over the years, Adrienne's midwestern accent has become a lot softer (living out of state for a long time) though her Swiss tones are still strong. Whilst she typically (socially caused) speaks English, she'll often speak to herself in German (alone or with others around).

OLFACTORY Often clinically clean, with her soap and shampoos a more natural fragrance, and a lighter rose or "springtime" perfume.

MEDICINE a trained pathologist, Adrienne is knowledgeable in studying and diagnosing diseases found in cells, masses or tissue samples. With a medical degree, she is trained in first aid, patient care, and wound treatment. During her time with Médecins Sans Frontières she stepped a little away from pathology and practised more general care, focused on patient care and treatment.

LINGUIST Adrienne is fluent in English and German and is conversational in Arabic and French.

Reasons for Request:

-- adrienne started her time in the cities by offering a hand to the injured soldiers at the barracks, which is something she continued as she got herself settled (until they started hinting more at trying to get her to sign up)
-- she talked to erik about trying and struggling to find ways to be useful (but was looking into trying to help with the dragons plight -- gathering herbs she considered as her way to help)
-- she spoke to viktor initially about the academies to make some enquiries there
-- after making enquiries about the academies she talked to others about their experiences in starting over/getting a job and did some studying to build up medical/medical-adjacent knowledge specific to this world.
-- during the holidays she volunteered for charity and tried to get others to volunteer, whilst also spending time at the orphanage and taking up some of the gathered supplies
-- and also volunteered to help gather bodies on the island and pitched an offer to the people in charge to help identify them using her pathology knowledge
